The Inevitable

Izabella woke up to a loud slap on her cheek. And she saw Camilla bent over at the edge of her bed. She quickly looked at her vacant side. Aleksander had already left.

"Wake up!"

"You have no manners, Camille. Do you know that? You keep coming into my room like you own the place," she answered coldly.

"Because you're a usurper!" Camilla shouted at her.

Izabella shook her head. "What did I steal from you? Are you talking about your stepbrother?"

"Yes! He was mine before you. I dreamed of Aleksander being mine, so I can't allow him to end up with you."

"I don't understand you. You own someone who wants another one..."

"You must have seduced him. Aleks promised to wait for me so we could be together, but you took him from me!"
