The smiles on Aleksander's lips evaporated when he saw Izabella. She was heading back to their table. Aleksander's eyes became mischievous when he noticed a few men's eyes turned as Izabella passed the pool game area. Izabella didn't even look at them because she focused on her waiting husband.

"Feel better?" Aleksander asked. His hand slipped on Izabella's waist as he pulled her close.

"Yeah, thanks," she replied as she met her husband's eyes. "Where's Jerry and Camilla?"

"Jerry left and will be back tomorrow. And I guess Camilla went back to the hospital."

"Oh. I could have more time to catch up with Jerry..."

His eyebrows quirked. "So that was your plan?" He sounded not pleased at all.

"Some. I rarely see him since he started running his father's business."

"How close are you to Jeremy?" He queried, watching her closely.

"So much close," she said with a smile. "He was like a big brother to me and my shield against his mom and sister. He knew those two don't like me aro
