Chapter 17— Kidnapped

Ryan had spent eleven hours at work today and he was exhausted, he was even more exhausted because he still hadn't gotten a lead on Lara's case.

He knew what she looked like— kind of, he had only seen her face one time and at night too but he was sure he could recognize her anywhere. Secondly, he knew her name, she had four other persons who worked with her— people whom Ryan was dying to identify. If he could just discover their hideout, he'd never let them go free again!

"Where could she be, where could she be?" He whispered again and again to himself in his office as he shook his leg underneath the table nervously.

"Hey, Ryan!" Joe called Ryan out of his thoughts. "Aren't you going home tonight?"

"Oh yeah yeah, of course! I'll just finish up here and leave!"

"It's 8 already don't stay out late man!" Joe advised him pointing to the watch on his hand.
