*Somebody's POV*
---
The footsteps of the wolf that just came in the front door of the mansion pitter-pattered down the hall, making the three women sitting at the dining area look at the creature with their smiling faces.
"Donald! Son, your back! This is a pleasant surprise." Hera, the eldest of the three, greeted the naked man who shifted from his wolf form. And with a subtle wave of the left hand of Magenta, the woman younger than the rest, the black robe from the rack near the fireplace went floating in the air, and Donald grabbed the fabric to wear it.
"Mother! Aunties! Good evening! I'm glad to see you all doing pretty well and looking prettier." He greeted them with a broad smile and went near them to kiss the back of their right hands.
*Blair Claudette Cavanaugh’s POV*---Something wet and warm brushed my left cheek, making me open my eyes as I had just woken up. And the first thing I saw was purple eyes that had been staring at me, and the wolf on my bed licked my cheek again, but now she’s including my neck and all over my face.“Ahh, Babe, stop! I’m awake. Okay? I’m awake. Hey!” I exclaimed when she hovered on top of me and kept licking my face while I tried to wrestle with her to lie down again. When the wolf was about to be defeated and lay on her right side, she shifted into her beast form, making me groan as she never plays fair. “No! Come on, Sweetheart! You are cheating! You are supposed to be just in your cute form!”
*Pryce Winsley’s POV*---We stepped out of the ladies’ restroom to head to the secluded part of this restaurant owned by our very own lawyer and friend, Leanne Jordan, that is mainly used for meal meetings--the conference room. And we are pretty sure that they are already waiting there. We still have two minutes before the agreed time, so I presume we aren’t really that late.“Hell...oh, girls! Damn, you look so different. But it's a good difference. What happened?” Leanne greeted us, quite surprised to see our old and unusual faces, and I flashed her a cheeky smile as Blair and I took our seats on each of her sides.“Hi, Lee! Our looks? Well… we just got some… you know… we accidentally washed our faces with a soap I had found in the cupboard back
*Pryce Winsley’s POV*---“Please forgive me, Your Highness, if I wasn’t able to protect Alison like how I promised your past life. She fell into the hands of the traitors and locked her almost all her life while you were still not around. I was the most useless guardian. And until now, I don’t have a face to show to the queen. But I was all glad to know you freed her, Princess Blair. So, thank you.” Ford Herrera confessed, full of remorse in his voice, and I now know that he does know a lot about the previous king’s life. He was Alison’s guardian and was known formerly as Sebastian Cortez.“Is that why you went rogue?” I asked him, making him nod his head in response.“Yes. I cut all my connections to the werewolves’
*Blair Claudette Cavanaugh’s POV* --- “What are we supposed to come here for again, ladies?” I asked the women who had dragged my mate and me to stroll within the academy as the sun had finally set two hours ago. Leanne stopped in her tracks to look back at us as we walked behind them, three humans. We just stepped into the senior’s building, looking around the familiar hallway with lockers on the left side. “To see what the changes were implemented here for the last three decades of your absence, and… find something not normal.” She answered, making my eyebrows furrow as I was pretty troubled, and Pryce replied to her, “Not normal… such as...?” And the lesbian doctor, Andrea, pointed her flashlight upside down below her chin and spo
*Blair Claudette Cavanaugh’s POV*---“Is that all you got, jerk? Hah! You punch like a lady.” I sneered and spat blood out my mouth, and I looked at the half-naked man, who punched me right in my face thrice now using his hard ice fist. This warlock is not going to be alive once I can escape from being tied down to this fudging chair.“Hmm, for a helpless, vulnerable creature, you sure are still full of yourself, Your Lowness. Don’t worry. I’m just warming you up.” He replied, wearing an ugly familiar grin on his ugly face, and I licked the side of my lip, making me wince. I hate this. I hate pain. I hate getting cuts. And I hate this human form of mine now. I couldn't do anything to save myself. I have been sitting here in this cage for&he
*Pryce Winsley’s POV*---I clenched my jaws, anger rushing in my whole being as I looked at the man I suspected was responsible for why Blair suddenly couldn’t use any of her witch abilities. And he scared our friends back inside the seniors’ building of my academy. And this warlock kind of looked familiar… an old enemy. Well, whoever they are, they won’t get away with what they are planning on us.“Hello, Your Highness! It’s a pleasure to finally get face to face with the legendary Rightful Ruler of the werewolves. You truly are so big as a beast. But not that strong. Now... Are you wondering why I looked like your greatest nightmare?” He greeted me with a grin on his face and mocked me, and I growled at him, “You might look like Damien or related to him, but I’m not
*Blair Claudette Cavanaugh’s POV*---“Stop it. Please, stop.” I begged with my hoarse voice that could barely be heard, and the feeling of being broken is an understatement with what I feel right now.I felt too much sorrow, anger, pain, but the worst feeling was being useless. I can’t save her. I can’t do anything to make her safe, to keep her away from pain and suffering. I can’t help but just watch her hurting and listen to her cries of agony. Even if she calls for my name, I can’t do anything to be with her.I lifted my head to look at her, before me, chained, bleeding, and barely breathing while her head was down. My gaze turned to the man wearing a familiar ugly smirk on his face as he tossed and caught the silver dagger on
*Pryce Winsley’s POV* --- A bright light made by a witch shone on me, making me growl and squint my eyes. Magenta had taken me somewhere using her Mirak’s Crystal, and all I could hear were people cheering and howling of wolves, werewolves to be exact. We seemed to be in the middle of nowhere while there were trees all around us, and the moon shines to its brightest above us. Is this some kind of a stage or something I stood on? Where the heck are we? So, these are their followers, eh? I hissed when something suddenly burned both my wrists, ankles, and my neck, and the painful feeling was quite familiar. It’s silver chains again. Nothing new? Though it hurts, I don’t want to shift
