“Mate,” he roars. His ferocious howl makes me shudder. Who exactly is this man? He pulls me into his arms. His grip is strong and powerful, as if nothing can escape his embrace. What is wrong with him? It is forbidden to kill in the human realm, so I must leave before I get caught up in killing.

“Get away from me, bastard,” I snarl, slamming my fist into his chest. He releases me, and I take a few steps back, breathing heavily. His face twists with rage, but he does not move to touch me again. I can feel my heart racing as I try to catch my breath. I glare at him, my anger still boiling. Even with the clothes he put on, I can still feel his muscular chest. This mysterious man exudes an aura I can never describe. I can sense the power radiating from his body.
