I get to my feet and walk into the bathroom to take a shower. I look over at my mate, who is still sleeping deeply. Red must have worn her down for her to be snoring like this.

"Yesterday with my mate was amazing," Red snarls. "Athena is so sweet." I pay attention to him as he continues to talk about her. I'm not envious. Every day, I get to spend time with Sophia, but he gets to spend a day with Athena. I changed my clothing after showering before heading out.

"My King," Josh says. "You don't have much work today."

"I know," I mumble. "I won't be working today."

"Where are you going this early in the morning, my king?" he asks.

"I really need to see my dear uncle," I explain. "We need to settle our bill today. He has lived longer than he should have."
