The hospital corridor looked like something out of a Star Trek episode. Everything that could shine shone brightly. There were stainless steel, sleek floors, and natural images on the walls in colors as vibrant as glacier melt-water or spring flowers. The air smelled fresh and clean, not sterile. Music was playing in the background at just the right volume to lift the spirits of the patients and staff.
