Chapter 44

Bianca told the police the location where they would see Flora and they took her there. They couldn't let the police come to the underground unit since it would smell trouble for them. The police wasted not more than five minutes before getting there and they took her away.

“ I thought I would feel relieved seeing her go to jail. " Nora said softly and Jeffrey sighed.

“ You're a good person Nora. No one would blame you for having sympathy. " He said and she smiled.

“ Thank you. "

“ Are you going to stay? " Bianca asked.

“ Yes. I'll stay till her hearing then I'll go back to Washington. " She sighed.

“ You can stay here with us or you go back to your family in California. They've been searching for you. " Bianca said and she stared at her thoughtfully.

“ I'll think about it." She forced a smile.

" We'll be here when you're done thinking. “ Bianca smiled.

" But I'll still have to go to Washington DC after the hearing. I have to take care of some things there. " She said and Bian
