CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

                                

Claire woke up late than her usual routine and she barely touch her brunch which seems a bit undesirable, it’s obviously she isn’t in a good mood today. Jain tried her best to make her feel better but it just got worse and she got yelled at and thrown out of the room.

After lying in bed for hours, Claire decided to go for a briskly walk to ease the tension she’s feeling maybe it will make her feel any better. Strolling alone in the large hallway she felt bored and decided to put down her pride and go find Jain to accompany her.

The maids’ quarters was difficult to find as it was at the far end of the royal quarters, when she got there the sun seems to have gone down and she felt a need for a cold bath.

“My lady what are you doing here?” Jain asked coming out of one of the tiny rooms with half eaten mandarin
