Chapter 35: The Revelation

Charlotte woke up and Aurora was sitting beside her and asleep. She ran her hands through Aurora's hair and she woke up.

"Charlotte!", Aurora said with excitement and hugged Charlotte. 

Charlotte grunted and she pulled away.

"Sorry. I was just so happy to see you."

"Me too. Thanks for coming for me."

Aurora hugged her again but not too tight this time. "I'm happy you are safe."

Charlotte smiled as they hugged. "Ah! I missed you."

"Me too", Aurora said as happy tears slipped from her eyes. She was happy Charlotte was here and in her arms. "I really missed you. I was scared, Charlotte. I was scared I wouldn't see you again."

Charlotte stroked her back. "It's okay. Shhh. Stop crying now."

Aurora smiled and pulled away.
