"You know what you're going to tell them?" Chrystal asked for parking in front of the wooden house.

Every step they took made her doubt if it was the right thing to do. Oliver could not blindly trust that some strangers would help him; it had taken three weeks for the brown-haired to trust her fully.

"The truth," he answered, nodding his head slightly.

"Do you have a plan B in case this doesn't work?" she asked again.

"I would like a painting like your family's; normal families have paintings like yours, don't they?"

Chrystal was surprised by how he ignored her question; something wasn't right, which made her uneasy. Maybe Oliver was better at controlling his emotions, knowing that a maniac was chasing him, but Chrystal wasn't. She had never felt so suspicious of her surroundings. She felt like they were being watched when Oliver came clean with her.

Pursing her lips, she decided to trust Oliver's family, if it could be called that.
