She was awoken on the exact time she told him to wake her up. As she opened her eyes, they distinguished a man in a casual outfit. He had a maroon button-up shirt with long sleeves rolled down to the arms near his elbows. He paired it with plain white shorts.
“It’s your turn to take a bath,” William reminded as he plopped himself on the bed, typing his life away on the laptop.
It was already 3 in the afternoon. She had discussed to him that she wanted to go nowhere but the restaurant. Valentine figured that it would be time to tell Missy and Delilah about the agreement she was in, William was unaware about her decision. She made sure he would only think she wanted to go there for a visit.
She couldn’t even say that she was on duty since Mary mentioned before William had already sort out three days off for her. Today was her third day.
