With a forced smile, she watched William stand up, hold her hand and gently inserting the ring through her finger. It was beautiful. The ring was made of white gold, its mount had no tiny diamonds engraved in it. The only thing that captured her attention fully was the sapphire gem gazing up at her. She wondered how much the ring would have costed. Valentine hoped he didn’t spend thousands just for an engagement ring.
