Atasha's POV

Conrad and my father are walking side by side and my forehead creased when Conrad stepped out of the police station as if he is free from his charges.

"What happened Dad?" I asked confused.

"You should go home with your husband," he responded.

"But he is facing illegal charges," I uttered.

"They don't have solid evidence to prove their claims. Our business is legal Atasha, Conrad didn't break any law," he uttered but I know it is all lie.

"You don't have to pretend Dad I already know everything," I told him. My father looks at me intently and then let out a deep breath.

"Just go home with your husband and do everything you want. Live your life the way you want to Atasha that's the only thing I can do for you," he uttered and just like what Dad have told me, the following days Conrad was no longer a strict husband.

"I'm going out with Grace," I told him and he simply nod his head.

"Just call me if you are too drunk to drive, and I will pick you up," he uttered without look
