Chapter 50

I laid there panting with Victor next to me, a part of me ashamed of what just happened and yet the rest of me not only loved it but wanted more. I felt Victor’s arm snake underneath my neck, pulling me into his chest. I felt immediate sparks where our skin connected, I couldn’t believe how comfortable it felt to lay there. For some reason, I had thought his chest would feel firm, almost hard and yet it was soft and warm. I felt myself sink against him, my mind floating on a cloud of pure ecstasy as he buried his face into my hair inhaling deeply. I closed my eyes a smile playing on my lips, you know this wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Part of me was again ashamed that I had seemingly lost control but I was kind of glad I had. Never would I have thought I could feel so, blissful.

“My Laura.” He whispered into my hair, I smiled wider nuzzling into his chest.

“I love you.” I bit my lip, my heart suddenly beating so hard
