I was finally able to make use of the library Maxim had made for me.

I noticed that some of the books were missing which made me laugh. Some of the hardcore killers living in this house were also interested in reading. It was fascinating.

While reading, I could not stop my mind from drifting to my birth mother. She was snatched away from me as soon as I was born and I was not privileged to even know the truth about it.

That had to explain why I had brown hair and my siblings all had blonde hair. It was something they made fun of since we were little. I wondered when they knew we were half-siblings.

Things changed for the worst when I was eight years old. Even before then, I knew my mother resented me but at eight, my siblings started to treat me the same way she did.

Did she reveal it to them since then? How were they able to keep it a secret and continue treating me like trash? I had so many questions with no one to answer them.

Was what Mikhail told me the truth?
