Zander sat across from Valen at the circular table before anyone else came.
"Dude, that was supposed to be my seat!" He watched Ryley narrow his eyes and smile.
"Your bad luck…" Zander shrugged his shoulders as he stole a glance of Valen and grinned sheepishly.
Almost all of the tables around them were filled. Why wouldn't it be, their end moment plan of having a dinner together was not good, to say the least.
The table they took belonged to somebody else. It was a family table for ten, five chairs on each side of the rectangular furniture, that was booked for some birthday boy by his father for a family celebration. However, the poor manager had to give it away to these young people since the bad boys (Zander and Ryley) towered him in the corner and threatened to break his bones.
There was nothing the helpless manager could say to explain
