I was numb. Not because of pain but because of regret that had literally broken me today. My ego, my reputation, my anger, my revenge everything got shattered like a pack of cards. Emily's words left me speechless. She was right, not only her but Rosaline, Jennifer, Antonio and Elijah, they all have always been right and I was the one who was wrong.
The Xavier Knight who had always kept everyone at their feet, who never gave a fuck about anyone, the mighty and powerful Mafia had completely become vulnerable today.
