Am I excited? You bet I am. In just a couple of hours I will be waiting at the airport for Immi to arrive. She wasn’t having any of it when I told her I’d send a private plane. In fact, she was adamant that she would not get on it, sustainability and all of that. I get what she was saying and respect her for it.

My cleaning lady Rita has been over, and the place looks fresh, clean and homely. She even put a huge display of flowers in the bedroom for me, don’t ask me what they all are since I have no idea what one flower is from the next, okay I know some about roses, carnations, and the obvious ones but these are something else with shades of yellow, orange and plenty of foliage.

Practice has been going well and the new coach is driven, he is a badass drilling us and getting us to work out more than I have before. He wants the next Stanley Cup, and he is relying on me go help get the team there with Atlas. No pressure there then. My legs still ache from this morning’s session even
