Cute Soldier

As I pulled him along with me, I noticed his eyes never left his mom's door even as I dragged him into his father's room. He seems a bit scared of his mom, I wonder if she hurts him when no one is looking. She must have used him for one of her mean tricks, otherwise, why is he apologizing for what she did and why is he so scared to the point of hiding away from his own mom. Should I tell Keith about my observation, would he believe me?

“Tell me, cutie, what’s your favorite game, should we play indoors or go to the woods to play?” I asked him excitedly. For some weird reason, I find the idea of running around with this kid quite exciting. Maybe I miss my childhood days, or maybe I’m just a big baby. But I really love his company and I want my first day with him to be so much fun.

He looked as happy as I was, and we both agreed to go down to the woods where no one could find us and play around in the dirt. I got into a more comfortable outfit so I could be free to play and jump around.
