No Trust

Jessie's pov

I know it was just a pretense but then, I can't help feeling scared. Watching as they rushed her over to the hospital, I feel real guilty even though I shouldn't. My hand had barely touched her when she slumped. How the hell in the world?

She intentionally did this and yes, it won't be funny when I get a bad name. Of course, people thinks different and their opinions differs. Though they don't know the full story; they are still going to believe what they want to.

As the ambulance zoomed off onto the tarred road, I fixated my gaze on the floor; not been able to look him in the eyes.

"Are you okay?" I heard him ask just as I was about mustering up the courage to turn around and stylishly leave. Without looking at me, I simply nodded.

Undoubtedly unconvinced, he sighed while from the corner of my eyes, I saw him crossing his arms over his chest. It looks like he's a lot to say but holding himself back. And yes, I hope it stays that way for now as I don't want to explain
