"Oh my fucking goddess!" Lucas exclaimed."Did you just take the Prince down?" Lucas gaped at me in disbelief still in shock. People clustered around me, people trying to pull my face mask off and see my face."Yes, but right now that isn't important. We need to get out of here before I'm lynched," I punched someone who tried to pull my mask off in the face. Not only were people trying to pull my mask off, some wolves who were upset that I defeated the Prince tried attacking me as well."Yes, yes, we really need to leave," Lucas replied, finally understanding the urgency of the situation. I'm certain if the crowd gets to know that I'm a female, they would burn me alive.Taking a run for it, we ran away from the crowd. Some angry fans chased after us and if it weren't for Lucas uncanny knowledge of the area I'm quite sure I'll be caught in no time."Hide here," Lucas pushed me down to a corner with a big drum blocking me."I'll be back," he promised and then ran off as the angry birds
The throbbing ache in my head was the first sensation that pulled me back to consciousness. As my eyes slowly fluttered open, I found myself lying on the cold, hard ground, the remnants of the knock-out punch still resonating through my skull. My neck felt like it would snap into two at any moment. The noises of the people surrounding the arena echoed in my ears, a mixture of cheers and jeers that seemed distant and muffled.Blinking away the haze, I tried to make sense of my surroundings. The last thing I could vividly remember was laying sprawled on the ground in my wolf form before being finally knocked out cold. Never would I have thought that there was someone that could take me out that easily. Not only was it humiliating, it was nerve wracking and something I definitely didn't expect. I couldn't help but wonder who the hell my opponent was. For some strange reasons, he seemed like someone I know; someone that has been around me before. But I just couldn't pinpoint who it was.
Sneaking back into the royal house suddenly looked more harder than sneaking out. Everyone seemed busy and pretty occupied which ought to be a good thing since it means no one noticed I wasn't in. But well, whatever has an advantage definitely has a disadvantage. Although, no one noticed I was not in. They would if I am caught sneaking back."How the hell am I going to sneak back in with this much population moving around?" I sighed, out of options."Well you should have thought about that before sneaking out in the first place," Lucas folded his hands, smirking."Not helpful," I rolled my eyes."What I need now is not you judging me but you helping out here. If I'm caught and the Queen finds out that I snuck out, you'll be in a bigger mess than me," I smirked and his lopsided smile dropped."Not cool," he frowned."I'm glad I now have your undivided attention. Now, do you have any plan on how to sneak back in without getting caught and lynched?""Lynched?" Lucas chuckled."You're goi
"Wake up you spoiled brat!" The Queen chided, emptying a bucket of water on me."What the fuck!" I shrieked jumping off the bed, my eyes widened in horror."Why are you still be in bed by this time?" The Queen glared down at me. If looks could kill I'll obviously be dead by now."Why the hell couldn't I have a peaceful morning without having to deal with the Queen?""Language miss!" She scolded frowning. I guess I said that aloud."Yeah, whatever," I rolled my eyes pissed. For some annoying reasons, she looked too shiny in that dress of hers. She had a different hairdo which looked newly made and as much as I hated to admit it, it looked nice on her. Her fairytale gown was different as well. I hated the fact that it was red and color blinding but if I was being honest, the embroidery on the dress was quite a piece."Today is the day of the ball and we have to ensure that you're all set for the ball," she pulled the curtains apart allowing the reflection of the sun find it's way in."C
I know Becca asked me to meet the Queen so I can complete whatever training I had left to perfect but right now, all I wanted to do was to avoid the Queen. Her presence spelt nothing but doom and and I most definitely wasn't looking forward to the impending torture awaiting me if I began my training with her.The best thing to do at the moment was to hide or better still run. I hurried off in the other direction, taking off my shoes so as not to make much of a sound. The maids who walked past me glanced at me curiously with eyes that simply said, "she's crazy.""Has anyone seen Imelda?" The Queen yelled, her voice reverberating around the entire royal house. "I swear if I get my hands on Imelda, I'll kill her," the Queen threatened, her voice sounding chilly and dangerous."There's no escaping her," Arla giggled as I ran for my dear life."Once she gets you, she will first of all amputate and get rid of both of your legs, then next she'd gurge both of your eyes out and feed them to
"You guys should cut it out," Becca rolled her eyes, bored."I'm not ratting you guys out at least not yet.""Meaning you still plan on ratting us out later on," I frowned, looking displeased."Don't give me that look Imelda.""We had a deal and that deal didn't include you running off," Becca glared at me, looking pissed while the girls just watched the exchange between us."Look, I'm sorry Becca," I sighed, apologizing. She had all right to be angry being that I left her at the mercy of the Queen, not like I had much of a choice anyways."The Queen's voice spelt nothing but trouble and future torture, so I fled once I heard her voice.""Well before running you should have thought about me and the fact that your running away was simply passing the trouble unto me," she rolled her eyes, her hands underneath her breast."You're right," I bit my lips, looking innocent."Fine I'm sorry," I apologized, pouting and she shook her head."You're unbelievable.""Look at what you girls have don
Ok, let's do a little flashback. Just as I had expected, I bumped into the Queen on my way to see the visitors and like Arla predicted, she nearly chopped off my ears and had them cooked for dinner.I'd be lucky if my ear remained the same after the way she dragged it, almost tearing it off.And then, there comes the prince charming I never knew I had, riding through the clouds coming to save me as I fell into his hands and got hypnotized by his blue eyes.My Prince charming turned out to be no one else but Derek, leaving me dazed. I thought he hated me and loved Mirabelle more?Well, I guess I'd find out later on. He swept me off my feet….."More like dragged you on your feet," Arla snorted, interrupting me and I rolled my eyes.Whatever, he swept me off my feet and took me to see the biggest surprise of my life. Running across the room towards me was no one else but……"Irina?" I grasped, as she jumped on me pushing me to the ground."What the hell, Irina," I growled."You were suppo
Maya and Irina got into a staring contest, Maya not hiding her dislike for Irina and I guess Irina felt the same way. Only Naya acted cultured but I could tell she also didn't like Irina that much.I guess it's all my fault, I painted a bad picture of Irina without allowing them get to meet her first and see for themselves how great she is."She's not all that great, Imelda," Arla rolled her eyes."After all, she acted rudely towards you that night and was a total brat," Arla added."Common not you too, she already apologized," I frowned."I know that, my point is that you shouldn't paint her as a totally great sister when she isn't.""Fine, I get your point.""What's your problem? Do you have an issue with me?" Irina sneered at her."I definitely have a problem with you, rira," Maya glared back at her, not backing down."It's Irina, Maya," Naya whispered."Why should I care," Maya hissed, unbothered and Irina gritted her teeth in anger. If there was one thing Irina hated, it was peop
