Captain Styles was curious to see how David would get away from the grave he dug for himself. So at first, he did nothing to clear the awkward air. Meanwhile, everyone was waiting for someone to clear up the current confusion, yet they got no explanation whatsoever. Apparently, no one has the intention to try and speak out.
