Elena’s flashback

On a regular afternoon. The heroine's parents had gone out to buy foodstuff for the house and left her and her brother at home. She went to check on her brother and made sure he was sleeping and that was her queue to start her plan.

The heroine was packing her bags to run away. She couldn’t stay in her pack any longer. She hurriedly packed the things she needed and wore a hood to cover her face from the eyes of the neighbors, her friends and him. She couldn’t eat them, or she won’t be able to leave. She had thought about this though, it was the only way out. She didn’t want to leave her family and her friends behind but she didn’t have a choice.

This was the best option for her, to run away and never come back. She couldn’t handle staging in the pack after what she saw. What she saw kept her awake for nights, didn’t allow her to think straight and she thought it was because she was still around in the pack. If she ran away, everything would stop.
