“Are you sure you’re feeling better?”

Evie looked up from her phone to see her father’s worried face. Behind him was Liz and another helper from home who were busy packing her luggage. Today was the day she would be discharged from the hospital, a month and a half since she had been admitted.

“Dad, you were here when the doctor checked me for the last time. There’s no problem with me anymore. Don’t worry,” she assured him.

Liz then paused from what she was doing to give her husband a knowing glance.

“Evely, you have to get used to your father’s nagging. He even wanted to buy you a helmet last night,” she said before letting out a chuckle.
