CHAPTER 108: I DON'T CARE IF HE HURTS ME AGAIN

I held my mother by her hand as we walked past the hallway, the maids staring at us, but I had nothing to say to them.

After much contemplation, Horace decided to let Lilith stay because he probably didn't want me to leave. That was great of him because I didn't care about living... after all, he hid my mother all these years.

I couldn't believe that he said magic is prohibited in the pack, but he was fully aware that Lilith saved Matteo, even though Lilith didn't tell him anything. I told him, but he couldn't even thank Lilith, and all he could tell her was to leave.

I have never known him to hurt people. He always appreciated people for the good they've done and didn't punish them—for all I know, Lilith didn't harm anyone with her powers, and she's been so good to me.

I had so much to talk to my mother about. So much to ask her, after thinking about where she will stay, I decided that she should stay with me for the afternoon, and then I'll ask Sarah to check for a room vacant
