CHAPTER 131: OPHELIA CONFRONTATION

It has been almost two weeks since I heard from Matteo. Nora has been busy lately with Gavner and taking care of Horace.

Unfortunately, he hasn't regained consciousness yet. I feel lonely because there's nothing here for me... I feel like I'm trapped here, though I'm here on my own accord.

Lastly, memories of my parents' deaths have been flashing right in my eyes, and it's made me realize I have a responsibility to take care of. I must make sure that those responsible for their unfortunate deaths pay for their crimes, and I don't care if I have to kill to make that happen.

Thinking about Matteo being my mate while he still doesn't want me makes me sick to my stomach. I just sit in this room all day, hoping and praying that he rejects me rather than making me feel like he is going to change his mind when he isn't going to do that.

The wind blew as the trees bent over in the direction of the wind, pushing the windows open as it landed on my skin, sending shivers down my spine.
