SWEET PUNISHMENT

LUCIEN'S BODY STIFFENED the moment my body pressed against his back. His right hand, holding the paintbrush is left hanging in the air. How I miss him.

"I'm sorry again. I know you don't like it when someone keeps secrets from you. I understand if you won't forgive me right away but please eat the food I prepared for you."

I let go of him right after I said those. I began to turn around, ready to leave the room but I halted when I heard Lucien cursing, nonstop.

I turned to face him again and my whole body weakened because of the deep and sharp gaze he was giving.

"I. Am. Mad. I was eager to go home knowing that you are here... waiting. BUT D*MN!! Imagine how I felt when I learned you were not here. I was angry and frustrated because of the news that the rebels and rogues are roaming around the woods in Preousia. And then Markus told me you left with my sister along with the others."
