Chapter 49: Wild Vampire chase

~ Lumiére's POV~

Noah sighed as he walked over to the counter, feeling the weight of the night's events. He grabbed a glass and began to pour himself a drink, the sound of liquid pouring into the glass the only sound in the room. Lumiére and Arin watched him with concern etched on their faces, waiting for him to say something.

“ There’s a vampire on the loose here in the campus. I chased him down last night and have been until I lost him this morning…” Noah said, finally breaking the silence.

Lumiére bit his lower lip, looking at Noah with wide eyes. The news was unsettling, to say the least. The idea of a wild vampire running around was enough to send chills down anyone's spine, but the fact that Noah had decided to chase him down on his own was even more concerning.

“ You fucking chased a wild vampire?! Are you insane!” Lumiére fired, unable to contain his frustration.
