chapter 88: the call

~ Lumiére's POV~

Lumiére kept running his hand through his hair again and again. He was getting more and more frustrated with each passing minute, and it was obvious to everyone in the room that he was not in the mood to deal with whatever problem they were discussing.

"I get what you're saying, but I don't see why you want to change the date... it's already perfect!" Lord Ramona said, trying to stay calm and understanding.

Lumiére quietly mumbled to himself, trying to relax in his seat. Somehow, the news had spread to the other Sanctuaries that he had found his future wife.

Because of this, the Lords of those Sanctuaries had called for a meeting at the fortress, but it annoyed Lumiére that Reagan, the person who got him into this mess, wasn't there to suffer with him.
