You'll Regret It!

Elora's POV:

“You know pretty well that you can't hide forever, right? You need to go out there and see him… he is obviously dying of guilt right now!” Kyla stated, trying to urge me into speaking to Bryce again. But that wasn't going to happen. That was never going to happen.

I had made a statement, a conclusion that I was going to keep. I couldn't let my guard down, not now, not ever. He had provoked me, and he was going to pay the price for doing so. I wasn't going to have pity on him. Never.

“Just let it be, Kyla… you have no say in this situation!” I scoffed as I folded my arms across my chest. I was sitting up on my bed, and my gaze remained fixed on the door in front of me.

“Fine, if you say so!” She snorted before she kept silent.

I wasn't sure at this point what I was going to do because, trust me, I was starving, and from what I noticed, Bryce was in the living room. I needed to eat, but because of my pride, I was trying my best to endure it, to keep it in.
