Chapter 17

SANDRA’ S POV.

It was a bright and beautiful morning, Claire had woken up and was already in the kitchen preparing breakfast for the both of us. I was so weak, I tried getting out of bed but I just couldn’t. I just laid there and waited for Claire to come and call me. I was feeling cold so I decided to cover myself with a blanket.

Few minutes later, Claire walked into my room. She saw me all covered and began to panic.

“Sandra, what’s wrong? Why are you covering yourself? Are you cold?” She asked so many questions at once that I was even confused on which to answer first.

“Claire I am fine I just felt tire that’s why I didn’t stand up to join you in preparing breakfast. And for the blanket I am feeling cold so…”

“Sandra you are burning up, why did you cover yourself with this when your temperature is this high.” Claire reacted after touching my neck.

Claire jumped from the bed and ran to the bathroom to bring a towel and cold water.

“Stand up sorry I mean sit up.” She said
