Aurora's POV

Two days went by slowly, and it was now the third day; still, Alpha Lucious hadn't come to see me. I was devastated and hurt by his action and by the loss of my child.

I had been crying for two days straight with no one to comfort me.

"Why are you doing this to me, Lucious? Why didn't you come to at least check up on me? Was I really that bad to you?" I questioned myself, sniffing continuously as I tried not to cry. The pain was too much for me to bear.

I was just wiping my tears with my hands when the doctor suddenly came into the room. He knew I was sad, yet he had a smile on his face to cheer me up.

"How are you doing?" He asked with a smile. He had been the only one caring for me since I was left all alone in the hospital.

"Not fine… I'm… I'm just so devastated." My reply instantly wiped away the smile from his lips.

"It's normal to be like that; you don't always have to dwell on sadness; life moves on."
