Allegra’s Pov

As we're walking back past the forest, a faint whisper of my name catches my attention. I pause, causing Silver to turn and glance at me, her expression filled with curiosity. “What's wrong?" she asks, concerned about lacing her voice.

“I… I thought I heard something,” I reply, furrowing my brow as I strain to listen. “It sounded like someone calling my name.”

Silver scrunches her brow, listening intently. “I didn't hear anything. Come on, Allegra, let's get you back to Xander before he thinks I've kidnapped you,” she suggests with a laugh, attempting to ease the tension.
