Chapter One hundred and Twenty Two

Allegra’s Pov

As I start to regain consciousness, the remnants of the power I absorbed retreat back into my body, leaving me feeling strangely invigorated yet uncertain. Slowly, I sit up, supported by Xander's reassuring presence beside me. His eyes hold a mixture of awe and concern, and I can't help but feel grateful for his unwavering support.

“Xander? What happened? Why am I?” I begin, my words trailing off as the memories flood back to me. The rush of power, the blinding light, and the overwhelming sense of fear and determination. I glance at Xander, my heart pounding in my chest.

I gasp, “Xander, are you alright?” I asked, my voice trembling with emotion. “I thought I was going to lose you.”

His expression softens as he meets my gaze, his eyes filled with a mixture of relief and concern. “Allegra, you saved me,” he murmurs, his voice tinged with awe.

I reach out to him, checking for any signs of injury, my heart racing with worry. “I'm fine, Allegra. I'm more worried about you,”
