I forgot I sent Tianna up to our room before I left. She has the curtains pulled closed and lights off except for a lamp by the bed. She sits in a chair she moved next to the bed.

"Shush! Remi's finally asleep." Tianna says putting her book down on her lap.

"How's she feeling?" I whisper kicking off my boots and placing my cut on the loveseat by the window.

"Well she feels like shit for keeping this a secret for so long. She's weak. She ate a bite or two and then we walked out back. We thought shifting might help, but apparently you guys can't do that when you're knocked up. So, Payne was a no show. We came back in here, and as soon as her head hit the pillow; she was out like a light." Tianna pat my shoulder taking her leave.

"Thanks, Tianna." I tell her motioning for her to leave the chair where it is.

"No thanks needed. She'd do the same for me. Hell. She has done the same for me numerous times." Once the door is closed I ease myself into bed behind Remi. She sighs when I wrap m
