Chad was quite for sometimes. ‘This is manipulation, just act long and see where it leads,’ Chad thought.

“Really? That is so great. Who found the ring? And where did they find it?” he asked

Alpha Zavier raised his brows, “Ain't you scared?”

“What? Why should I be scared, Alpha?” Chad asked.

“That I will be the most powerful alpha and rule the entire werewolves generations and eventually kill you,” Alpha Zavier notified.

“At least I will die with a smile only face, knowing that the heirloom is in your hands,” he replied.

‘Not just any hands, but my son's hands,’ He wanted to add, but restrained.

‘Is he playing dumb with me, or he just doesn't want to reveal anything to me,’ Alpha Zavier wondered as he stared at him.

“You are not scared to die? Huh?” Alpha Zavier asked.

“That's my fate, or should call it destiny? The moment I was put here in the dungeon, I knew that my life had ended and took another turn. I won't come out alive, and I have already accepted my fate,” Chad replied.
