“Please Stop!” I hear Sylvia’s distressed voice crying out. I am not going to let go of Emily, not until I squeeze the life out of her. She has troubled me enough, how dare she come back to my life after abandoning me as if I didn’t mean anything to her? And now she speaks ill of Sylvia, I am not going to allow that. Not at all. Sylvia is special to me, I am not going to allow all this.

“Stop, please, you are hurting me.” I hear her scream again, but this time I understand that it’s not because of what I am doing to Emily. I look at where she was sitting, but she isn’t there, instead she is coiled up on the floor her arms hugging her chest. Her whole body is shivering. I let go of Emily and I hear her fall so hard to the ground.

“You are so mean.” Emily cries out as she runs away. Serves her right, I don’t want to ever see her in my life. And also, I cannot believe that I am over her.
