12. Jealous
Paula's p.o.v
"You look pretty," Lauren said while fixing my hair.
"Good, because I want to look very pretty for Henry this morning," I answered calmly.
I felt somehow bad for not talking to him in the garden when he asked me a question. I acted plain rude when all I wanted was to treat him with respect.
"I'm done," Lauren whispered.
"You look beautiful," Cleo said softly.
I looked at my ladies and smiled happily.
"Wait for me to return, I want to go and see Henry alone," I ordered.
"Go your highness, we will be okay," Mirriam answered.
I nodded then walked out of my room and went upstairs, I took in a deep breath when I approached his room, the two guards guarding his Chamber's stepped aside then bowed.

The crops were destroyed by insects and the little crops they harvested couldn't even cover half the kingdom." Paula's p.o.vI couldn't stop smiling like an idiot as I walked to the garden, my ladies picked out a very beautiful bareless black dress that showed my curves and more skin. My hair was pulled up in a burn that left two strands of hair at each of my sides.When a guard came to call me, my ladies couldn't stop giggling happily. They were surprised and very happy over Henry's change of heart. I too was still in shock over his sudden change.
