The floor underneath Meera shook with such velocity that it actually looked as though it was the whole world that was shaking.

Meera must have breached what she wasn't supposed to. Well, the gem was kept far away from reach. Its power must have been the one holding the whole place in check.

She wondered how long people have tried to reach the gem all to no avail. And it was special for him. She would be able to acquire everything she has always wanted. She would rule the world at last! The thought of it brought a smile to her lips.
