Ian was very cautious not to let anyone see him as he walked in.

He had not been here in a long time, and yet it felt like coming right back home. Now at the foot of the stairs leading to the front porch and front door of the pack house, he was having trouble keeping himself calm. It just seemed like everything jumped out at him right then, and he had to try and control himself, and his wolf side from reacting in a less than relaxed way.

The man then began to take deep breaths, inhaling as his chest rise, holding his breath, and then exhaling it out. The air was cool, and he was used to his breaths fogging up when he was out this late due to the climate of the region. Ian kept on doing that, taking in deep breaths and exhaling them out, his breaths fogging up. His senses were on high alert, as he knew that anyone could just come across him standing there, at the entrance of the pack house he had grown up in and was now a stranger to.

He could not afford for anyone to see him.
