I was furious all the time. I was winning in the war against the shifters. I had the royal couple where I wanted them but I wasn’t happy. My wife was being held prisoner by those sickening monsters. They had better not lay a hand on my Crissy. I paced the secluded wooded area just outside Jadeville. I was away from the direction of the pack lands and the mansion.
