Chapter 14: Call me to learn new skills

Anita and Angie took Austin to the park on a Sunday evening; it was Angie's idea.

While Austin played on the grass, Anita and Angie sat on the bench, discussing. Angie was busy on her phone, as always.

There were very few people in the pack; some came as a couple to hang out, while a few brought their kids, just like Anita and Angie.

Anita even saw a young couple on one of the benches kissing, then she quickly looked away.

Anita laughed when she saw Austin running after a bird and quickly warned him to be careful.

"That reminds me." She finally said that and turned to Anita. "I found a good school for Austin; he can start next week."

"Really!" Anita exclaimed and hugged her friend. "I wonder what I would have done without you."

Austin, who was playing alone on the grass, heard Angie and ran towards them, giggling.

"Am I really going back to school? Thank you so much, mom. Thank you, Auntie Angie." He hugged his mom and kissed her chin, then did the same for Angie.
