Chapter 59: Application Accepted

Anita woke up the next morning feeling a light headache and a slight temperature rise.

She squinted when she opened her eyes and got hit by the filters of light that seeped in through the window.

She turned around, wondering why she was having symptoms that looked like a hangover when she did not even drink last night.

She suddenly felt a body beside her as she moved, and she quickly opened her eyes, thinking it was Austin. At first, she raised her eyebrows when she saw Alexander lying down beside her.

"When did he come back?" she thought with her brow raised.

Alexander slowly opened his eyes to see Anita looking at him; his face squeezed into a frown as he looked back at her.

Anita dismissed the look on his face as probably the result of stress from his trip.

"How was your journey?" Anita asked Alex, who was still lying on the bed face-up.
