Chapter Twenty-Nine

Raven nodded quietly. Wasn't she doing the same thing? Raven's face paled as she watched the scenes passing by the car window. She couldn't help with the internship but she wouldn't stay at his apartment anymore. She didn't want to fall into the category of women who wanted to take advantage of him. In fact, she wanted to tell his granny and call off her fake relationship with him.

Ralph was amazed at himself that he told her about his parents. He never talked about his personal life with anyone. He usually had his fun and left but Raven drew it out of him and he had no clue why he told her. He stole a glance at her sweet, innocent face, so deep in thought. A tremor of excitement coursed through his veins as he thought about the next few days that he would get to spend with her.
