The day dragged by at a snail's pace. There was nothing at all to do inside the cabin besides watch television. I had used all my mobile data playing Candy Crush. It bored me to death, having nothing left to occupy me.

As soon as I stepped foot on the porch, the hot rays of the sun licked my skin. It was a good thing I packed plenty of sunscreen, not wanting to get sunstroke. With the warm scent of forest pine filling my lungs, I took a slow stroll around the cabin and found my men taking advantage of the glorious weather.

Mason was sitting cross-legged on the grass with an acoustic guitar on his lap. I watched as he replaced a broken string and began to fine-tune it. My eyes drifted a little farther and saw Alex and Grayson practicing martial arts. Both were shirtless, their taut muscles dappled red and glistening with sweat from getting too hot. One brother was missing. I looked around but couldn’t see Lucas anywhere.
