"To think I will meet a 'Cultivator' in this place."

Hearing the words, Lian Li snorted softly. "I can say the same thing about you." She retorted, "Who are you? Fan Mei said you are adopted. Is Ming Yue your real name?"

"It's my real name. I was adopted by Qing family before, I left and met Elder Wu. He invited me to his house and things somehow flowed to adoption, or something like that." Ming Yue explained in a simple way.

"Ming Yue is your real name and you were adopted by Qing Family.. wait.." Lian Li frowned as she realized something, "Aren't you the rumored cursed child?" She asked,

"Don't call Master 'Cursed Child'!" Ling Mao said in anger, "Master is not a 'Cursed Child'!"

Ming Yue patted Ling Mao's head, calming her down. "It's okay, Mao Mao." She said in gentle tone.

"But.." Ling Mao bit her lower lip, wanting to cry.

"There, there. It's okay." Ming Yue
