Clarisse stood there and let him hold her, took a deep breath, and said, "Do you understand me? Do u understand my past? What I have been through?" Lawrence laughed, "I don't understand, we can slowly talk things over."

"I don't want you to understand me, and I don't want you to understand my past." Clarisse gritted her teeth, shook off Lawrence, and ran upstairs. "Clarisse," Lawrence called from behind her. Clarisse didn't answer him and ran in. Lawrence kicked the car angrily, threw the helmet and a racing suit that Clarisse returned to him into the trash can, got in the car, kicked the accelerator, and zoom off.

Clarisse was at the building door, looked out quietly, saw him leave, closed her eyes, and went upstairs slowly. Early on Sunday morning, Arielle received a call from Mark Logan. "Arielle, my mother suddenly fell ill in the countryside. I have to go back."
