CHAPTER 87: A CHANCE

Hearing that they found evidence of Diana being a traitor from her room, Claire perked up, staring at the elders with raised brows. As far as Claire knew Liam, he will never include Diana in his schemes wholly. He will not involve her in all his plans, let alone leave evidence with her that would come to bite him in his ass one day like this. So was it a coincidence that the elders found 'evidence' of her being the traitor? Or did Liam take the opportunity to make Diana take all the 'credits' and plant that evidence in her room when she escaped?

"Shall I see those proofs?" Claire asked, and the elders nodded before calling a maid. Soon, she brought several papers and notebooks over to Claire, who started examining those pieces of evidence carefully. Seeing Claire standing there silently without uttering a word about the evidence, Liam smirked before pasting a concerned mask on his face. Then he moved closer to Claire and touched her shoulders while looking at her with sympathy.
