Chapter 88

That same afternoon, Katrina woke up from her siesta and sat on her bed. She felt better after having that short nap.

She stretched out her arms and yawned, getting herself back in shape. Her hands lowered down, as she stared at the window for some minutes.

Then, Katrina got out of bed and made her way out of her room. She felt like taking a stroll outside to get her full energy.

Stepping out of her room, someone suddenly bumped into Katrina. Leaving her stunned by this.

She turned over to see who it was. Only for her eyes to land on no other person than Lucien. He had an upset look on his face.

He faced Katrina and apologized for hitting her in that manner. Saying he didn't know that she was coming out of that this was her new room.

Katrina said nothing to Lucien. He glanced at Katrina once more, before walking away finally. She just watched him leave. Noticing something off about his behavior.

"Is it me or did Lucien just apologise to me?" Katrina asked herself, watching Lucien walk
